MLK Day Resource Kits
Unable to attend the annual MLK event at the DHM this year? Don’t worry! You can still participate in honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy from home. The DHM has created age-appropriate resource kits for the community that are equipped with links to videos, read alouds, and writing prompts to encourage young minds to change the world just like Martin Luther King Jr. did! Click on the link below to download to get started!
Online Scavenger Hunts
Interested in developing internet literacy skills for your child while also learning about Dearborn history along the way? Check out these scavenger hunts! Each will require participants to search the DHM website (as well as websites for other local museums) to answer questions about Dearborn and its history. Kids who accept the challenge and email their responses to us at museum@ci.dearborn.mi.us will receive a prize!
